Cookie policy

Last updated 13 October 2026. lynctera.com sets analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept them, counts visits from the UK anonymously, and never uses cookies to show you adverts elsewhere.

Your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page, and turn advertising measurement on or off on its own below.

Anonymous visit counts (UK)

If you have not accepted analytics cookies and your browser is set to UK time, we still count your visit, without asking, as the UK's electronic communications rules allow for statistics used only to improve our own website. We record the page, the site you came from (just its address, not the page), any campaign tags in the link, the time, your browser type and a shortened form of your IP address (the last part removed). These go to our own Lynctera platform, are used only to see how the site is used, and are not shared.

To tell one visit from the next we keep a random number in your browser's session storage (lynctera_stats_session). It is deleted when you close the tab, is never linked to you, to an enquiry you send, or to yellowbe.io, and no cookie is set. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted.

Your visits are being counted anonymously when your browser is set to UK time.

Our Lynctera analytics also keeps two items in your browser's local storage: lynctera_visitor_id, the same identifier as the visitor_id cookie, and lynctera_consent_decision, a record of your choice and when you made it. Both are removed if you withdraw consent.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. The Lynctera analytics service is operated by Yellow Be Ltd, so that data is not shared with a third party. If you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

If you have accepted, a link from lynctera.com to yellowbe.io, or back, carries an identifier so the two sites count you once, in our own analytics and in Google Analytics. Both sites are run by Yellow Be Ltd.

Only if you accept advertising measurement

We advertise lynctera.com on Google search. With your permission, Google Ads can tell whether you reached us from one of our adverts and whether you then sent an enquiry, so we can see which adverts are worth paying for. We do not use this to follow you around the web or to show you adverts elsewhere: personalised advertising stays switched off whatever you choose.

If you arrived from one of our adverts, we also keep the advert's click reference in your browser's local storage (lynctera_ad_click) for up to 90 days, and send it with an enquiry if you make one, so that if the enquiry becomes work we can tell Google Ads which advert led to it. Google may also read its own cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net when it records the visit. Google Ads is provided by Google Ireland Limited. If you turn advertising measurement off, the cookies above and the stored click reference are deleted.

Advertising measurement is off.
